POST MORTEM REPORT: This is what killed the Man who died in KISUMU During #CORD DEMOS

A man who died during recent protests in Kisumu was shot in the chest, a post-mortem report has now revealed.
Contrary to police reports that Fredrick Otieno died in a stampede and the hospital’s version that he died after hitting his head on the pavement, the post-mortem report carried out by a private professional hired by Mr Otieno's family showed that a bullet was retrieved from his body. The autopsy was conducted yesterday at Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu in the presence of the family, police representatives, officials from the Independent Police Oversight Authority and ODM officials. Kisumu Central ODM chairman Seth Adui Kanga, one of the witnesses, said the man was shot by the police.
Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu Medical Director Sam Oula on Monday had ruled out the possibility that Mr Otieno succumbed to a gunshot wound, stressing that they had checked the body thoroughly and did not find any form of gun wound. The family of Mr Otieno, who was an electrician, had on Wednesday demanded to know why the police and the hospital concealed the cause of his death.
