NO MORE CHEATING IN KCSE AS A WHIP HAS BEEN CRACKED

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) board was on Thursday dissolved over irregularities that marred national examinations in 2015.
Former University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor Prof George Albert Omore Magoha who has experience in management that has made The University of Nairobi to maintain their status quo against other universities in Africa and abroad has been appointed as the new chairman of the board, with immediate effect.

The council's chief executive officer Joseph Kivilu and eight other top officials have been ordered to immediately record statements with the police.
Interior Cabinet Joseph Nkaissery directed the nine, who are suspected to have been involved in exam leakage, to record the statements so that action can be taken against them.
The Nine members include

  1. Ambia Noor (senior deputy secretary)
  2. Maundu Mantenzawa (deputy secretary - security)
  3. Thomas McKenzie (principal examinations secretary)
  4. Sarah Majani (senior deputy secretary- reprographics)
  5. Boby Mwai (senior deputy secretary)
  6. Geoffrey Gitogo (senior deputy secretary -in charge of ICT)
  7. Michael Ndua (principal supply chain management
  8. Richard Mwangangi (deputy secretary)
