Oliech was first capped by Kenya as a 17-year old and has amassed a record 34 goals in his 68 appearances to date.
The Nairobi native’s goal against Cape Verde secured the Harambee Stars’ sole appearance at an African Cup of Nations tournament in 2004.

10 TRICKS NAIROBBERY USES TO MINT MONEY FROM NAIVE INNOCENT GUYS FROM THE COUNTRY SIDE

A visitor travelling to Nairobi should be aware of such tricks used by conmen of the city to diddle or to snitch from innocent visitors.
1.A while ago while walking through to NSSF I met this funnily looking men and they were like I have won a charity sweepstake worth ksh 100000 they had the 'FAKE' ticket and they claimed they didn't know where The Kenya Charity Sweeptake head office is located and they wanted me to show it to them. They usually Tells people that since they doesn’t have the ID you collect the money for him and take maybe half or quarter (depending on how greedy he thinks you are). You go to the offices but before you get in he insists you have to leave him some security since he doesn’t know you, either some money or valuable, maybe phone. The card is fake, umeibiwa. Being that I had alot of busy schedule in my Head i never gave them a listening ear i never became their prey.
2.Some  Guys drop coins in a Matatu and as you help pick, your pockets or bag is being emptied. If you are still Naive in the city,Hapa ni Nairobi. At one point a lady was travelling from KNH to Kenya Science carrying her school bag.The bag had a laptop inside it, a guy who seemed to have been trailing her pretended she had dropped a coin and when this innocent lady just tried to help that is the time her bag moved a distance from her luckily enough she saw it and alarmed and other passengers helped her get back her bag.The guy was later handed over to the police.A helping hand in good faith can lead you to be washed easily.
3. In matatus guys suddenly shouts there is a crackdown and people should fasten the safety belts, as you struggle to look for yours, your pockets are being emptied. Some even pretend to help you fasten the belt while their other hand is busy in your pocket or bag. This guys have connections even with the said drivers and conductors as they divide the loot.
4.Beware of guys reading newspapers in matatus spreading them to you or carrying big envelopes (x-ray type) and placing them covering you or part of your bag or pocket. This is the time they can get accessed to your pocket and empty it with No Mercy.
5.Some guy dropping an envelope with cash, another picks and tells you to go and share, they will either take you to a corridor and rob you or give you the envelope to go into a kanjo toilet to divide but they will insist you leave them with your valuables. The envelope contains papers and single visible note money.
6.Guys playing cards by swapping them. One is thrown down and you are requested to help pick. They pretend to thank you by giving you 200bob but you have to show equivalent. Then told to show the right card and you can never win. They guys around them are their accomplices. Don’t be fooled. (Embakasi bypass outside Nakumatt).I was once a victim of this.I think this guys sedates or rather use tranquilizers or hypnotics medications that act as central nervous system depressants in order to make one unconscious.Kaa Macho hapa ni NAIROBI.
7.There is an old lady who will approach you, request you to dial a number for her son so she picks her. You dial the number and it goes through but isn’t picked. You leave and get into a matatu. Unknown to you the accomplice(s) gets into the same matatu ,claims his phone has been stolen and asks one to dial his number(your number), your phone rings and before you explain or prove anything, the mob is acting on you proper.( Kencom ambassador area). This has always been played in the media to acts as a warning to guys.
8. A person stops you and asks for directions to a Media house or stadium or uhuru park or childrens home where he says he is headed and he is a popular man of God. Before you tell him anything another person (accomplice) passes by and pretends to know him from the good work he does for charity and helping people. You are then told a lot of problems that you have and told to either pray somewhere or help a beggar leaving you belongings to them, or some brainwashed and part with money.Hapo umecheswa if you leave for them your belonging.
9.You receive a call from a person claiming to be from safaricom but uses either unregistered AIRTEL LINE or ORANGE. He tells you to go to ATM withdrawal in the MPESA menu and key in either 555 555 or 286286.(Pesapoint and equity agent numbers respectively.) you get an authorization code which they tell you to read for them to finish the activation of the service for you. They even warn you that your pin is your secret and you should not even give it to them.
10.Receive some sms claiming, ‘Auntie or uncle, mototo ameumwa na nyoka nitumie 50bob airtime nipigie mtu wa boda boda. Hii ni maabusu ya kamiti.’

COAST BUSINESS MAN RESCUES MUGENDA FROM CRITICS

After the radio queen Mutoko bashed the out going Kenyatta university VICE CHANCELLOR stating that KU has been turned into a market place and call it development. She went a head to say that KU is an educational institution and its chief trade should be on education, not building Unicities, buying hotels at the coast, and starting secular TV stations for the sake of making money, a Hotelier and a business man from the coastal region called MOHAMMED HERSI came to the rescue of the Noble institution claiming that Kenyatta University has been transformed  from a goverment supported university to a self funded institution . All this was made possible by one lady Prof Mugenda. I don't know her personally but she has certainly left the institution better than she found it .
He continued by praising Mugenda that,
She may not be perfect , who is perfect anyway?he said
I have hired many graduates from KU and they have not disappointed me. The likes of Nick Ladu Winston Ayaya and many more.
What is this crap that she has left behind a business not an educational institution. In Kenya you are dammed if you do and you are still dammed if you don't . Going to Harvard , MIT , Yale and the like you pay a fortune. Universities are not charity institutions. KU today is not running around with a begging bowl .
She leaves behind a very solid university with a fully fledged business innovation & incubation centre in liaison with Manu Chandaria. Running a hotel in North coast that was dead for years is great . Their students now have a place to go for internships not to mention the employment creation .
Well KU has produced serious people who are playing their part in this country and beyond . Let us give credit where due . Professor Mugenda has done very well.
To you the critic , self appointed fault finder , what have you achieved ? It is very easy to throw barbs at others from the comfort of your seat and keyboard ? If you really have time on your hands go help Uchumi & Mumias. KU is doing just fine.
Good Prof . All the best as you retire and as a good sign of Good Corporate Governance I am glad you declined the Ksh 100M send off . Take only what your final dues are and go in peace and be proud of what you have done.

Caroline MUTOKO Bash outgoing KU VICE CHANCELLOR

After the terms of Mugenda came into a conclusion, This is what Caroline Mutoko had to say about the out going KU VC
.Why should a lecturer teach a class of 300 students in Chemistry and call it development? In JKUAT a class has a maximum of 60 students. Why should we make KU a market place and call it development. Tell me which journal is published by KU? Which educational conference preceding has KU hosted under Madam. KU is an educational institution and its chief trade should be on education, not building Unicities, buying hotels at the coast, and starting secular TV stations for the sake of making money.

Even MKU had an international conference recently. If an institution is involved in research work it will get lots of funds from donors. Yes, Stanford has a TV station, but is purely for academic purposes in what is called the MOOCs. KU is offering everything including Agriculture, yet it does not have any land under agriculture! Aren't we wasting our sons and daughters? I hope the next VC at KU will restore the learning culture, not the buildings culture.
Oxford has less fancy buildings than KU but offers one of the best in research and education
Why have many buildings and overlapping courses without enough lecturers and zero publications? I'd rather have students get quality education under trees. Why issue people with PhDs just to fill up numbers?

ANGRY: WHY Migori county governor should LOSE the NEXT ELECTIONS

Migori Governor Okoth Obado should lose the 2017 general election if the fruits of devolution are to be felt in that county.
Migori county is wasting away under the heavy weight of looters in a corrupt executive, a wasteful county assembly and a pliant governor.
This is the shocking revelation after the county assembly gobbled a whooping sh 369.4 million in foreign trips. So useless were these trips that a number of foreign governments have banned Kenyan MCAs from visiting their countries on ‘official duties’.
Migori, one of the country’s poorest countries, last year drained more money in foreign trips than any other county, including Nairobi, which spent only sh 134 million, despite having more MCAs.
Elgeyo Marakwet county, richer than Migori, spent a measly sh 53.4 million.

VIDEO OF DRUNK CHIEF

AFTER READING THIS YOU WONT WISH TO WED

KTN‘s Betty Kyalo has separated from her journalist husband Dennis Okari barely six months after the couple’s much publicised wedding.
In an elegant wedding that was an invite-only affair at the Marula Manor in Karen, Nairobi, the bride and the groom arrived aboard two pricey cars. The two cars bore their names signalling a lifelong union.
The celebrity couple who live tweeted their glamorous wedding and gave almost all the details of their honeymoon are allegedly no longer in good terms.
Things seem to be so bad to the extent that Betty has moved out of their matrimonial home and has rented an apartment in one of the classy estates.
The couple has also for a very long time kept off the social media a situation that is so unlikely of them.
