THE GUY WHO IS SUSPECTED TO HAVE CAUSED VIOLENCE IN KAKAMEGA ARRESTED

A senior Kakamega County Government official was arrested yesterday in connection with the violence which erupted at the launch of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula’s presidential bid at Muliro Gardens on Saturday. Mr Nabii Nabwera, the Kakamega County Chief of Staff and aide of Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, was taken into police custody for questioning. Governor Oparanya has denied any involvement in the incident.
The events at Muliro Gardens have raised questions over CORD's longevity with sections of Kenyans saying the coalition will not survive in the run up to the 2017 General elections, especially after this incident which Raila Odinga missed.
